The 5th Wave

PREMISE:

The first wave was an electromagnetic pulse that took out all forms of technology. It killed around half a million people.



The second wave: earthquakes and tsunamis; it made the first wave look like child play. The second wave killed 3 billion people. About 4 more billion to go.



The third wave was pestilence. A virus developed to wipe out most of humanity-- and it almost did. Except, some very rare few, very lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you want to look at it) were able to fight it off. We're down to a few hundred thousand people left in the whole entire world.



The fourth wave came in the form of humans: silencers. They look like us, talk like us, lived among us since they were born. So now let me ask you, who can you trust? ... No one. Trust no one!



The fifth wave... Do you even want to know? It's us, it's children. They train kids and tell them they'll be fighting the aliens. But they're actually killing humans, they're killing us and they don't even know it.
